About Me
The heart behind Empowering Minds
My journey started with limiting beliefs and a deep need to understand why I thought the way I did about myself. For a long time, I carried beliefs that weren’t truly mine and that I wasn’t good enough. Over time, I realised many of those beliefs came from my family—stories, expectations, and patterns that had quietly shaped how I saw myself.
Warmly, your partner in growth
Our Approach
Wanting to understand myself and others better, I studied Counselling Skills Levels 2 and 3, followed by a Diploma in Counselling Theories. While I’m not a qualified therapist, my studies gave me a deeper understanding of people. I drew on ideas from different psychological approaches—Person-Centred Therapy (Carl Rogers), Attachment Theory (John Bowlby), Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Existentialism, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and Transactional Analysis—to better understand patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaviour.
Our Core Values
Compassion
We approach every individual's story with deep empathy and without judgment, creating a truly safe space for healing.
Resilience
The areas I’m most interested in are limiting beliefs, confidence, attachment styles, relationships, personal growth, and the stories we tell ourselves about who we are. I later became an accredited coach through the ACCPH because I wanted to support people in a more practical, forward-focused way. My coaching combines voice messages and telephone support, giving people space to reflect while also having guidance when they need it.
Integrity
Honesty and transparency are the foundations of our practice, ensuring a relationship of trust and security.
Empowerment
We give you the tools and insights required to take control of your mental wellness and life's direction.

Living with a disability has taught me a lot about resilience, self-belief, and the importance of challenging old narratives. Many of us spend years carrying beliefs that no longer serve us, without ever questioning where they came from. I don’t believe people are broken—most of us are simply trying to navigate life with the experiences, beliefs, and understanding we have at the time. Through my blogs and coaching, I hope to encourage people to become more curious about themselves, understand their patterns, and recognise that change often starts with awareness. If my content helps someone see themselves with a little more understanding and a little less judgement, then I’ve achieved what I set out to do.
